Help AWTY Build a School in Honduras: 2022

Schools for Children of the World (SCW) and the AWTY International School of Houston, Texas are teaming up to build another school in Honduras!

The AWTY SCW Club has constructed or renovated ten schools in the past ten years.

For 2022 we will be building a school in the rural village of San Rafael, Morazan in Yoro. AWTY student will be involved in the fundraising for this project and will be traveling to Honduras in the Spring of 2023 to dedicate the school. Financial assistance is also coming from the Rotary Club in Naperville, IL and through support from a family donor in Honduras.

This school will be constructed in one of the poorest rural villages in Honduras where the current school is in terrible condition and very few students have the opportunity to attend. The new school will include a beautiful new building, bathrooms, running water, furniture and playgrounds. The photos and video links are examples of what we have been able to accomplish.
