Help the SCW Club at UCLA Renovate a School in Honduras!
Help our team at the University of California, Los Angeles raise funds to renovate the school in El Aguacate, Honduras. In June our members will be traveling to Honduras to help with the painting and finishing touches on the school and build a playground with the children and families of the community.
Your support is invaluable to us, and a donation of any size will be greatly appreciated.
The communities that SCW works with generally provide land, volunteer labor, and locally sourced materials, while SCW provides assistance with planning and designing, as well as materials. Our job as members of the SCW club at UCLA is to provide financial support to fund the construction of the painting and furniture of classroom. This year, our goal is to raise $5,000 by the summer to fund the renovation of a classroom in a community called El Aguacate, located near Comayagua, Honduras. On the same site we will be helping to build 2 new classrooms which will be funded by the Shelby Rotary Club in Michigan.
