**Help us meet the $60,000 goal. **
The new Francisco Morazán School, will be located in the community of El Higuerito, Quimistán, Santa Bárbara.
The current school in Higuerito's is in poor condition and faces serious risks due to its location. The 104 children who attend the school live on the other side of a main road, and to get to school, they must cross this road, which puts their lives in danger due to the constant traffic of vehicles at high speed. In addition, the current school is located on a property near a river, which exposes it to a high risk of erosion and possible landslides. The current conditions not only pose a risk to the safety of students but also affect their access to quality education in a safe environment.
SCW has created a partnership with the local government, local community, and a Honduran family foundation to make this project possible.
