SCW General Support: Expanding Educational Opportunities in Developing Countries

It's that time of year for our year-end fundraiser and we need your support!

We started SCW with the hopes of completing one school project a year. We're proud to say with the help of the SCW network SCW has completed over 130 new and renovated school projects in the past 25 years.

We operate with minimal overhead. Just one part-time persons in the USA. All of the SCW Board Members are volunteers as is everyone from the USA that help out on projects. We do have staff in Honduras to oversee projects and to make sure your contribution is being used wisely. We partner with organizations like Rotary, school groups, church groups and others to raise support for individual projects. General support is used as the glue to hold everything together. This includes planning future projects, providing the gaps in financing that is needed to make sure projects are successful, and supporting painting and other project to help maintain schools that SCW previously constructed.
